I Think I Can

An interactive installation that invites the public to engage and play by becoming residents, via a tiny puppet, of a model Roman village.

Who would you like to be today?

Through puppetry, live video, and audience interaction, this innovative public artwork asks ‘What would you like to be today?’ engaging you in an optimistic task of collective storytelling.

After completing a playful ‘Career Test’ to personality-match you with a puppet, a tiny alter-ego is yours to be steered through the daily life of a Roman citizen.

As our puppeteers animate the character in the miniature Roman world, you are invited to tell your story, which is then documented and will appear on the website in the form of an online newspaper.

At the end you will be given a “passport,” which enables you to return to the miniature town at anytime during the project and move your figure.
